*Note 1—This vehicle has an orange “salvage” title. The back story is the first owner was a Hilton hotel in Florida. One of their drivers (undoubtedly no longer employed there) tried to drive the van into a parking garage that was about 6” too low, crunching down the roof. Their insurance company deemed the damage not worth repairing and sent it to auction. I have a brilliant body shop guy, who sourced a “donor” roof from another 350 EL and did a transplant that looks to all the world like showroom new condition. No other part of the vehicle was affected, the airbags did not deploy. In fact, because of the way my body shop sleeved and welded the pillars, the roof is now stronger than the original build. I sell this vehicle with a clear conscience, and given its low mileage it should be good for another 200K+ miles if properly maintained.
*Note 2—Up until a month ago, this vehicle had a full-body vinyl wrap. As a result, the paint was protected and looks brand new, with virtually no rock chips or dents.
