The good:
-Premium option (leather seats, upgraded audio)
-New battery
-New starter
-New brakes
-Alignment is perfect
-Frame is solid because the aluminum body does not rust
-Tires are in good condition
-Front end suspension has been completely replaced within the last 50,000 miles
-Air conditioning blows cold
The bad:
-Driver window is replaced and makes an annoying whistling sound at high speeds. I got used to the sound on long trips.
-Radio does not play. The radio seems to work properly. Microsoft SYNC will connect to my phone and my phone thinks music is playing, but no audio will come out of the speakers.
-On 9/9/23 there was an incident with shifting. The shifting had been slower in the month prior to this incident, but on the day the wrench icon came on and when it shifted there was banging. When I turned the car off and back on the wrench icon was gone and the shifting was back to normal (a bit slow) and drove fine for the next week. Mechanic did find metal shavings in the transmission, but thinks the transmission has more life left.
-Paint has degraded. Chips are present at the tip of the hood, the sun has caused spots where the plastic on top of the paint is deformed, and there are scuffs on the bumper.
