We purchased the car from a neighbor after our Jeep was totaled. We purchased this Mustang with the odometer showing roughly 139,000 miles. The total mileage we added brings the current odometer to just under 147,000 miles. We used this as a local car with only a few trips in excess of 80 miles.

This 2009 Mustang is a multiple owner car with clean rebuilt title. A transferable warranty for major power train systems was purchased. I spoke with a customer service representative at the warranty company. Ally stated that the new owner only has to complete a new application, pay a $50 deactivation/transfer fee and provide copies of bill of sale and title. This paperwork needs to be performed within 3 days of the recorded date of sale. We have not used the original warranty as all items performed were less than the deductible amount.

Since purchase:
~ New brake pads, tires (235/50R 18) and windscreen wipers were added by Stroope Tire.
~ After the tires and brakes were added, Bullet Automotive was hired to immediately go through the vehicle’s major mechanical systems and make suggestions. They performed a comprehensive inspection. Their suggestions and repairs totaled less than $250 for hoses, clamps, belts, and replacement of a few other simple items. The only recommended repair we did not pay to have completed was an airbag/sensor default code repair. This was a $2000+ expense, so we’re disclosing this issue is still present. The warranty do,Panay does not consider this part of the power train so it is not a covered item.
~ An air conditioning issue was discovered on a 100 degree day. Bullet Automotive repaired this for us. The air conditioning system was found to have a small leak. The leak was repaired and the system was charged and refilled with refrigerant. Total cost of this repair was under $200. The air conditioning system otherwise worked nicely through our ownership.
~ During a routine oil change, the mechanic at Bullet Automotive suggested the starter was also a due for replacement and they installed a new one. This total was also under $200.
~ Tinted windows were installed by Glissons.

Items that need attention include an airbag/sensor replacement and there is a fastener for the stereo that needs to be installed. The stereo works, but for some reason it is not well sealed in the console unit.

This 2009 Mustang has served its purpose for us as simple and reliable transportation, but now we’re upgrading to a new vehicle. We’re offering this vehicle at $7,500 and expecting a quick sale.
