This is a super clean, low mile Mega Cab. If you're not familiar with the Mega Cab, it's entirely a 2500 but with a Hemi instead of the diesel. Same suspension, brakes, and everything as the 2500. Even has the 8 lug wheels. It easily seats 6. Even the rear seats will recline. Tremendous leg room for even the tallest. Very comfortable highway cruiser.
Engine was replaced at 102,000 miles in July 2019.
Right after engine was replaced, I had trouble with the AC. Ended up being the evap core under the dashboard. The whole dash was removed and the evap core, heater core, and all blend doors were replaced. Blower motor and resistor pack were replaced at the same time. It blows very cold now. (Heat works great too.)
I've also replaced:
*Tires (at 112k miles)
*Both headlight assemblies
*Fog light assemblies (now LED)
*Battery (this January)
*Brake pads front and rear. Replaced with Hawk Superduty pads (at 110k miles)
*Front sway bar end links and bushings
*Bluetooth stereo with 4 upgraded speakers in doors
*All three driver power seat motors have been replaced with new motors
While it was apart for stereo swap, the seats and carpet were pressure washed, the seat foam on the lower portion of the drivers seat was replaced, and a double layer of sound deadening was added to the entire truck. (Under headliner, under carpet, under all 4 door panels, and on rear wall behind rear seat.) Also added at that time was a gun console/lock box that hides in the compartment under the middle front jump seat.
Mirrors were upgraded to the flip-up style
tow mirrors.
A trailer brake controller is already installed in the dash and included with sale.
Exhaust upgraded with a Flowmaster 50 Series Big Block dual-in, single-out muffler with a 4" resonator welded onto a 4" chrome slant tip. It's much deeper than stock without being too much louder. (Wife approved.)
Rear gears were upgraded from 3.72:1 to 4.56:1 to help with towing. This only changed rpms about 400 at 70 mph but makes a huge difference in acceleration both when empty and when towing. Service was done at Jackson Powertrain in Flowood MS at 110k miles.
Fumoto oil drain valve added to oil pan for easy oil changes.
Full flush and filter replacement was done on transmission at 110k miles.
The paint is still glossy with very few dings and the interior is super clean and comes with a full set of new WeatherTech floor mats. Undercarriage is clean with no rust.
Has a single-side ladder rack. Rack has a 400 pound capacity and is easily removed. Rack is great for hauling long sticks of lumber.
Comes with 3 key remotes.
