2001 BMW 325i 5-speed manual. Around 166k miles. Mechanics special. I have owned this car for 7 years. I don’t live here anymore and left the car here to use as my transportation when I come to town for my National Guard job. Unfortunately it just doesn’t get driven enough to justify keeping it. I’m not a mechanic and the car is getting older. I recently gave it a minor tune up to include new spark plugs, air filter, and a few intake hoses, but it still needs a bit more work. It runs fine sometimes and other times it idles low and seems sluggish. Based on my internet searches, I think it’s a common BMW vacuum leak. The drivers window needs a new regulator (common for BMW and pretty easy to replace—I did the passenger side not long ago but don’t have the tools since I don’t live here anymore). The key fob doesn’t work anymore even with a new battery and the lock cylinder on the door is froze up so you can’t really lock the car anymore—except the trunk (a new key or a new handle fixes that issue). One tire has a slow leak (new tires all around wouldn’t hurt). Leather on drivers side seat has started to separate. Missing one of the front grill insets. Probably a few other small items I can’t think of right now. As for the good stuff…only a few hundred miles since the last oil change. It has a nice little aftermarket stereo system with amp and sub that was $500+ originally. Paint is in good shape for age of car—no major damage/rust. Clean title. Newish battery that always starts the car even after a long break. And it has fairly new windshield wipers! I’m in town for several days. KBB says this car in “fair” condition (lowest option available) is between $1500 and $3500 with an average around $2500. I know it needs some work because I just told you all that’s wrong with it. For someone with the knowledge and time, a few hundred bucks would get you a nice car. I included some older pics so you know what the car looks like. I can send more on request for anyone serious. Make me an offer I can’t refuse before I leave town and don’t return for another couple months. Text is best because I can’t always answer my phone.
